Doesn't Look Like Anything to Me

Using quotes from the 45th President of the United States to generate images with a Text to Image neural network (AttnGAN). Each quote is a lie or a violation of moral and social norms. A neural network is trained on data, and then makes best guesses at predicting if something newly presented falls into a category it has trained on. Sometimes this are correct, other times they are wildly off base. Trumps's statements must have some foundation in reality, but are regressive, cruel, and dishonest. Like a seriously crossed line, or a mismatched pattern analysis. A neural net struggles to make sense of the world as well. Maybe this is what he sees? Or maybe I'm just scratching an itch and he's truly a psychotic narcissist?

Using this code https://github.com/taoxugit/AttnGAN , based on this paper http://openaccess.thecvf.com/content_cvpr_2018/papers/Xu_AttnGAN_Fine-Grained_Text_CVPR_2018_paper.pdf

Many quotes came from : https://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/statements/byruling/false/ and others were collected online in June 2019 at Signal Culture as a researcher in residence.
