I am an Industry Professor in New York University's Integrated Design & Media program (IDM). From 2018-2026 I was the director of academics for BS and MS students. Previously I was visiting faculty at NYU Shanghai, the founder and director of the Interactive Media program in NYU Abu Dhabi, and a researcher in residence and adjunct faculty at NYU's ITP.
I was the "Head of Documentation" for the Arduino platform from 2009-2013, was the technical editor on a number of books on the topic, and the designer and primary author of the official Arduino Starter Kit .
I have held research and visiting academic positions with Locus Sonus in Aix-en-Provence and Culture Lab in Newcastle.
Recently I've been working with NYU's Institute of Fine Art running workshops for conservators who are interested in electronics and I've been collaborating with the Onassis Foundation/ONX Studio and the Athens University of Economics and Business on a series of professional development programs.
