I am an artist and educator. In my day job I'm a professor and the director of graduate academics for the Integrated Design & Media program in NYU Tandon.
I've previously been a partner with Lightband Studio and the head of documentation for Arduino.
My artwork ranges from light-based sculptures and objects to programs that give more agency to computers than they should probably have.
I've worked with other artists and organizations like Leo Villareal, Toni Dove, Vibeke Jensen, and Local Projects on a number of projects over the years.
Recently I've been working with NYU's Institute of Fine Art running workshops for conservators who are interested in electronics and I've been collaborating with the Onassis Foundation/ONX Studio and the Athens University of Economics and Business on a series of professional development programs.
